This week in the holiday style guide I'm unlocking NYE! Whether you're snuggling up on the couch or ringing in the new year at your favorite restaurant, I've got you covered this week. I also am excited to share a bonus catalog focused on stylish sleepwear!

It seems like the older I get, the less eventful NYE becomes. I remember when my husband and I were newly dating, I convinced him to throw a NYE party at his new townhouse. When I say new, I mean NEW. Pretty sure it only had a couch and a hand me down table from his grandmother in it, but boy was it a PARTY! Now, NYE looks more like cooking at home and a family movie.

Regardless of what we do, I make it a point to dress up. When we're at home, it's usually a set of silk pajamas or a cashmere set. That party in 2009? It was a short silver sequined mini-dress and purple satin pumps (Hey, it was 2009!). When you think about it, NYE symbolizes a fresh start, new beginnings and hope. Many people set new intentions and resolutions, even choose a word to represent the new year. If NYE has such symbolism behind it, why wouldn't we want to wear something that makes us feel amazing?

If improving your image, upping your style, or success of any kind is on your list of new year goals, NYE is a great time to start. Even if you don't have grand plans, choosing a look that makes you feel grand tells your mind that you are worthy of your dreams and goals.
