1. You barely know me, how can you possibly ‘get’ me and be able to shop for me?
That's exactly why my new client questionnaire and consultation call go so deep. I want to understand your lifestyle, your preferences, how certain pieces make you feel — all of it. Details that might seem irrelevant to you are often the ones that matter most. My job is to translate your thoughts, feelings and goals into a wardrobe that actually works for your life and makes you feel like the best version of yourself.
2. Do you work with clients outside the Philadelphia area, or virtually?
While most of my work happens in person here in the greater Philadelphia area, I also work with clients virtually when that's the better fit — and for those who prefer in-person styling, I travel to you as well, wherever you are, for a travel fee. However we work together, you'll get the same level of attention, strategy, and personalized guidance.
3. What if I’m left with no clothes at the end of the closet audit?
There will absolutely be things worth saving. We often find gems clients have been overlooking simply because they didn't know how or where to wear them. My job is to identify what aligns with your next level self, fits and flatters and show you how to style it. At the end of an audit, you're left only with pieces you love and know exactly how to wear — nothing more, nothing less.
4. Have you ever shopped for someone my size? For someone with my body type? My body is so hard to fit, can you really find things that I will look good in?
Every body I work with is different, and that's precisely the point. Fit and proportion aren't guesswork to me — they're a skill set I've spent years refining. I know how to identify what genuinely works for your specific frame, and just as importantly, I can show you why, so you walk away understanding your own body better than you did before.
5. What stores do you shop in?
I shop across a wide range of retailers, chosen deliberately based on you — your goals, your sizing, and where your budget is best spent. Part of my role is helping you prioritize: knowing which pieces are worth investing in for longevity and cost-per-wear, and which ones don't need a premium price tag at all. The goal isn't to spend more — it's to spend smart, so every piece in your closet is earning its place.
6. Why should I hire you over a subscription box or department store stylist?
Both can offer some help, but neither gets to know you the way I do. A subscription box relies on algorithms, not a real understanding of your life, your goals, or how you actually want to look and feel. A department store stylist is typically limited to that store's inventory and is often working with multiple clients in a single afternoon — their priority is moving product, not necessarily your long-term wardrobe strategy. With me, you always get me — not an intern, not a rotating stylist, not a computer guessing at your taste. I take detailed notes on every client so your experience stays personal, session after session, and because I'm not tied to any one retailer, I have no hidden agenda — I'll only ever suggest what's actually right for you.
7. I’d really like to hire you, but I want to lose some weight. Should I wait?
No — and honestly, you can't afford to wait. Every day spent putting off how you show up is a day you're not operating at your full potential. My job is to dress the body you have right now, in a way that makes you feel confident and put-together today, not in some future version of yourself. Great styling isn't about hiding your body until it changes; it's about understanding your current proportions and dressing them well. If your body changes down the road, we adjust — that's part of the ongoing relationship, not a reason to delay starting.
8. What if I don’t want a complete package?
My packages are structured to get you the best possible results — a style transformation involves a lot, and I want to be there to support you through it, including after our sessions when questions come up. That said, if your situation calls for something different, please reach out to me and I can design a custom package for you.
9. What happens after the initial engagement — is there ongoing support?
Our work together doesn't end when the sessions do. Style evolves, life changes, and questions come up — that's exactly why I offer ongoing support and retainer options for clients who want a true style partnership, not a one-and-done experience.
10. I hate shopping. Can you just do it for me?
You're in luck — that's exactly what I'm here for. When we shop together, I pre-shop the stores and pull everything ahead of time, so all you have to do is walk in and try things on. And if we're working in my studio, it's even better — everything is ready and waiting for you
11. How can I be sure that I come out with results that make me feel like myself? Do you just style people in clothing you personally like?
Not at all. I've worked with women whose personal style is completely different from mine, and it's never gotten in the way of great results. My job isn't to dress you in what I like — it's to develop and elevate your personal style, finding pieces that make you feel confident and that actually work for your life. Getting dressed should be exciting, and my goal is for you to feel like the most authentic, elevated version of yourself every day.
12. It seems like a lot of money, is it worth it?
It is, and here's why: without a clear strategy, most people end up spending far more over time on pieces they wear once or never wear at all. Right now, a lot of people turn to influencers for style advice — but influencers don't know your specific goals, your body, or your budget, and they're not offering an unbiased opinion. What you're actually investing in is a high-touch, white-glove experience — hands-on, personal, and built entirely around you, not a generic template applied to every client. Think of this as an investment in yourself, not just your closet. When you invest in yourself, it shows — and it gets you noticed for the right reasons.
