The Power of an Accessory

This week (and spoiler alert... next week too) we're talking about something so near to my heart... accessories! Accessorizing is something I hear over and over again from my clients that they struggle with. 

Common things I hear:

I don't have time to accessorize.

I don't know how to accessorize.

I don't change my accessories.

I also hear from these same clients that they want to look effortless, polished and put together. Does any of this resonate with you? Sorry to break it to any of you non-accessory folk, in order to look effortless, polished and put together you NEED to accessorize. Period.

Accessories have the power to take your look from good to great. You can still achieve a 'simple' style with accessories. Your accessories should feel like an extension of your confidence and personal style, not just an afterthought. This season accessories are bolder, artful and more expressive than ever. Chunky, vintage inspired pieces are flooding the shelves and give luxe vibes. For Summer, we've seen an uptick in fish inspired pieces, colorful beaded necklaces and over the top bag charms that feel all very playful.

 This week I'm featuring some of my favorite on trend accessories- the scarf, shell and beaded inspired jewelry and even one of my not so favorites... the bag charm.
