WFH In Style

WFH In Style

There’s something subtle that happens when we start working from home.

The lines blur.
Between work and rest.
Between effort and ease.
Between who we are professionally—and how we show up day to day.

And often, our wardrobe is the first place that shift shows up.

I hear this all the time from my clients that comfort has become the priority, but that they also feel they've lost themselves too. Which makes sense. Somewhere along the way, “comfortable” can start to look like disconnected… from your identity, your standards, and the version of yourself you’re growing into.

Elevated dressing at home isn’t about being overdressed. It’s about being intentional. The perfect balance between comfort and polish. Because what you wear still shapes how you move through your day, even if you're not seeing anyone.

A few simple shifts can make all the difference:

  • Upgrade your base layers. A matching set and a structured tee goes a long way here. Mix in pieces like sweaters or an oversized button down with your athleisure to make your look feel thought out and intentional.

  • Add one “anchor” piece to tie the whole look together. Maybe it's a coordinating sneaker if you're wearing athleisure or a printed scarf to add interest to your basic tee.

  • Be mindful of fabric. Materials like cotton poplin, fine knits, linen blends, and soft wool naturally read more refined than overly worn-in basics. These fabrics also pack just as much comfort.

  • Don’t skip the small details. Jewelry, a watch, or a simple shoe (even at home) creates a sense of completion.

  • Dress for your future self—not just your current environment.
Even if no one is seeing you in person, you are still reinforcing how you show up. You will still see yourself in the mirror when you go to the bathroom and a little bit of effort will be a continual reminder all day.

  • Hair and Makeup. Sometimes this makes all the difference when your outfit is casual and relaxed.

Style isn’t about where you’re going. It’s about how you choose to show up—wherever you are, and that includes your home.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected from your wardrobe lately, this is where I would start—realigning your everyday pieces with the version of you you’re stepping into.

This week I'm sharing all looks from Spanx! If you're looking to upgrade your WFH wardrobe, Spanx is a great place to start! They offer size inclusive styles, different inseams and everything in comfortable, movable fabrics!

Before we get into this week's shopping guide, I want to bring this idea of intentional styling off the page and into real life and share a quick reminder…

To celebrate one of Spring’s standout accessories—the brooch—I’m hosting a pop-up brooch bar at Scout & Molly’s boutique in Cherry Hill.

Join me on Saturday, April 4th from 10 AM–2 PM for a curated selection of brooches and vintage jewelry pieces from The Archives. You’ll have the opportunity to explore one-of-a-kind pieces and see how they can instantly elevate even the simplest looks.

I’ll also be in-store offering styling guidance on pieces from their spring collection—helping you think through how to wear what you’re drawn to in a way that feels intentional and true to you.

If you’re local, I would love to see you there.
