The Lost Years

As we enter a new season, I think this is an important conversation. A client once said this to me... “I call this stage of life that I’m in, the lost years”. She knew at one point she was stylish. She doesn’t necessarily feel un-stylish now, but also knows she isn’t stylish and she doesn’t feel confident about her look. She’s not sure how she got here… life just seemed to get the best of her in terms of her wardrobe.

A few girlfriends of mine and I went out to dinner to one of my favorite Italian restaurants.

I'm Left Handed

Recently, I reconnected with a client from 5 years ago. When we spoke on the phone, she said:

Even though its been a few years, I still read your blogs. You’re still the upbeat, positive girl I remember. I think your blogs read differently to me because I know you on a more personal level than maybe someone who hasn’t worked with you.

From the Gym --> Gin & Tonics

I would consider the athleisure trend a blessing and a curse. Sure, its also nice that a wide variety of casual styles is considered acceptable and its nice to know there are comfortable options for nearly any function, but at the same time, I think its enforced this fear of being ‘overdressed’. When did that become such a bad thing?! Check out this blog to read more about that…
